The most bizzare thing I learned tonight was that a student held up a banner that read "Bong hits for Jesus." What's the story with that? I think I heard something about it, but never got the entire story.
The most important thing I learned was the Nine Principles of Journalism.

Bong hits for Jesus was a message from the teen supporting drug use. A "Bong" is a type of marijuana (I'm told this by students in another class). "Hits" are what you do with drugs. Get it?
We'll discuss the case mroe in depth later in the term.
